Time
Format HHMM in UTC (e.g.
1235 = 12:35Z). Actual times only — never the scheduled time. iCal feeds publish the schedule, not actual block-off / block-on. To populate actuals automatically, import your monthly PDF roster — most operators include real ATD/ATA in the PDF.

Pilot identity
Name, rank, airline, and licence details. These appear on every PDF export.
Renew on the recurring cycle that applies to your multi-pilot 705 operation. Update this date after each PPC. For how training events (LOFT, IPC, etc.) relate to your PPC currency, refer to your operator's approved training program.
Operational preferences
How Cumulo behaves when it imports flights or recognizes flight numbers.
Comma-separated airline IATA codes. Cumulo recognizes flights matching these prefixes when syncing iCal / PDF rosters. The Airline dropdown above auto-fills this for you.
Under 705 ops, virtually every flight terminates with an instrument approach. When this is on, iCal sync sets
Approaches = 1 on each new flight, feeding the CAR 401.05 currency counter (6 approaches / 6 months). Auto-enabled when you select a 705 airline. Turn off for 704 / 703 / bush ops where flights are often VFR — enter approaches manually. Existing flights and your manual entries are never overwritten.
Check the configurations you fly. Used to filter aircraft type suggestions and currency tracking (TC requires separate currency for floats, skis, tailwheel per CAR 401.05).
Display preferences
How the logbook table looks on screen. PDF exports are unaffected — they always show all 38 TC columns.
Cleaner logbook view — any column where every flight shows 0 is hidden from the table. The PDF export for Transport Canada always keeps all 38 columns.
